Offline Instructions for New SensePlayer Firmware

To upgrade your SensePlayer offline, follow the steps below:

1. Download the upgrade from the HIMS website here.
2. Copy the .bin file to the root of an SD card.
3. Place the SD card in the SensePlayer.
4. Connect the SensePlayer to the AC adapter.
5. Navigate to “Utilities” from the Home Menu using the Up or Down arrow and press “OK”.
6. Use the Up or Down arrow to select “Upgrade” and press “OK”.
7. You will be prompted to choose how you wish to upgrade. Use the Left or Right arrow to navigate to “Offline” and press “OK”.
8. The SensePlayer will announce “Start System update”, and the update will begin installing. During the installation process, do not press any keys on the SensePlayer or disconnect it from the AC adapter.
9. When the installation is complete, the SensePlayer will announce that the upgrade was successful and will reboot to the Home Menu.
